1. You haven’t upgraded to the
latest 11-Nov-2014 patch for MSOffice 2013.
You should not have a problem
if you are using either of these versions or earlier ones.

2. You are using an earlier
version of PowerPoint like 2010 or 2007.
Further action:
As of now, we recommend that
you don’t upgrade to the latest patch of MS Office 2013.
If you find that PowerPoint files are
opening in Read-only mode even with Edit permissions, please write an email to support@seclore.comor log a ticket.
As an immediate work around, you can
remove the 11-Nov-2014 patch and downgrade to the previous version of MSOffice.
