Scenario 1:
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.
Resolution:
1) Navigate to Services.msc > Find “Seclore HotFolder Server” service > Right-click on the service > Properties > Go to “Log on" tab.
2) If the start/stop service option is diabled(greyed out) kindly login on the server with an Administrator account.
3) Check the credentials of the logon user.
4) Make sure that full access permissions is given to the designated domain user account responsible for running the hot folder service.
5) Make sure that the logon account is a part of administrators group.
Scenario 2:
Windows could not start the Seclore Hotfolder service on Local computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
Issue 1: Service Executable Path is changed.
Resolution:
1) Open Registry Editor
2) Go to the below path:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SecloreHotFolderServer"
3) Check the path under the data column of "imagePath"
If -s of the executable is inside the quotes, bring it outside.
Below is the proper path along with quotes:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Seclore\FileSecure\HotFolderServer\x64\FSHotFolderService64.exe -s "C:\Program Files (x86)\Seclore\FileSecure\HotFolderServer\x64"
4) Start the HotFolder service and check if the issue is resolved.
Issue 2: InstallDir Path is changed.
Resolution:
1) Open Registry Editor
2) Go to the below path:
"Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Seclore\FileSecure\HotFolderServer"
3) Check the path under the data column of "InstallDir"
If there are any quotation in the path, remove it.
4) Start the HotFolder service and check if the issue is resolved.
