Applies to: Seclore Policy Server
Error:
Message "User email id not found" is displayed while searching for a user or trying to add the account from Policy Server Portal.
E.g. while Adding Security Administrator, Adding Entities in Policy, etc.
- Login as OU Admin.
- Go to Configuration à Security Administrators >> Add Security Administrator >> Administrator name >> Type name or email.
Or
- Go to Policies Search >> Select a Policy >> Add Entities >> Type name or email.
Cause: This is an Expected Behavior. Generally, this is observed for a AD user who is recently added and the Repository is not synchronized yet.
Solution 1:
- Login to Policy Server URL with the new user account. This will create a quick entry.
Solution 2:
- Right click on any file >> Seclore It.
- Protect a file and add permissions to the new user. New user can try to open the file.
Solution 3:
- Manually sync the repository by:
- Policy Server root portal >> Configuration >> Repositories
- Select the Repository to see Repository Details.
- Scroll down to the last and Click on Save.
- This will update the repository and Synchronize with the DB.
Solution 4:
- AD gets synchronized on every Sunday. Post which all the new users will be seen in Seclore.
