Detailed Overview of Seclore Desktop Client Services and Processes Essential for Application Functionality


Mandatory Services:

  1. Seclore Desktop Client Service:  Enables access control and protected document handling.    
  2. Seclore Upgrade Service: Handles downloading and applying software updates. 


Startup Processes (Primary Processes): These processes are essential to launch automatically during startup.

  1. FSDCTray.exe                  – Manages user login and maintains the user session.
  2. PrintScreenMonitor.exe     – Prevents unauthorized screen captures of protected documents and also monitors other Seclore processes.

  3. FileSecureAssist.exe        – Monitors directory for Outlook protected attachments.

  4. UpgradeClient.exe           – Displays upgrade notifications to the user.

  5. FSEventMonitor.exe         – Monitors events for classification related activities.

  1. AutoConfigurator.exe       – Initiates component repair during system startup.
